Hey Guys, Just bought an accident damaged e46 m3 and am looking to buy various body panels, head lights, indicators that had been damaged. Prefer not to have to buy new. Any advice?

Good Luck on that one, rather spend a few rands than trying to constantly doing repairs on parts that has been used. Don't get me wrong body parts etc. can be cheaper 2nd hand if you can find them in good condition, the after market pirate parts( body panels) are not that bad to use, might need a little motivation to fit correctly but not a train smash. Again congrats on your purchase and happy motoring when completed.

Any pics of the beast that you want to repair?

+1 on not using pirate. Rather shop around for good quality secondhand on the bigger stuff.

Also remember that most of the plastic tupperware on the car is almost always damaged in a accident and thus you won't find it easily in the scrapyard.

Rather buy these items new from the dealer since it's not really that expensive (in comparison) and you wont struggle with a part that has maybe a tab or two broken off.

My 0.02.

Ok so after gradually accumulating all parts needed for 2 years, attending to all mechanical issues we now start nearing the end. All new panels test fitted, new head lights, indicators. New brake disks and pads. Hope to be in paint later this week. Soon to be as new e46 M3
