BMW's new stripe package? Really

We reported last week that BMW intends to roll-out a new collection of Performance accessories for its M cars. And the one that got the most interest was the highly anticipate M Stripe package for the 1M. Originally rumored to be a throw-back design, the stripes clearly are a down-sized version of the same design that debuted earlier this spring on the M3.

I don't know about this look.

It seems like BMW and AC schitzer both go out of their ways to make a really good looking car ugly.

I think the 1M needs nothing to make it look any better as it is a super sexy car allready

What do you guys think?

Here is the X6 package?

It is way to loud.

O and you can get it in the M3 aswell.

The estimated cost will be an extra R 22000 if you buy a new M3. Now that is just stupid.:nonono::fencelook:

R22000 for a decal package?? WTF!! I'm sure it will cost less than R1k to replicate!

FUGLY....perhaps a small streak on the bumper wouldn't be too bad.

And there's more:

In addition to the BMW Performance stripe package, the company will also offer a slightly revised BMW Performance steering wheel. The new variant replaces the yellow strip across the top of the wheel with an M approved blue one.

I never got why you put millions if not billions into panel shaping equipment design, another couple of billion into paint forumlation and specification, then invest the GDP of a small country into the assembly line to produce all of this, and then go put a fscking sticker on it....

Stickers have no place on cars :yuck:

M colour stripes look good on some BMW, mostly classic ones. On newer ones, they should be more like M pin stripes, have seen a couple of cars with this on and it looks really if done right.
