The response for Sunday is not so good. On the list below (3 more people cant make it). The response to the MPs have been zero. I understand its long weekend and people have family commitments and some are just very exhausted after a long year - all very understandable.

We need to make a call if we go ahead so I can let the charity know. Perhaps do something proper for them in the new year once they are settled in their new home?

Its seems they now have plenty (toys) and (clothes). The need is furniture and appliances but the problem still is to store it. So it may be better to help with these items once they have moved into a new home.

Options are:
1. We pitch at Mcdonalds for short park-off and some pix and wish each other well and disperse from there on our own.

2. Continue with a run but excluding the charity visit with an alternate route. Beach road, Seapoint will be crowded...so maybe stick to hellshoogte.

i would love to go but my BM is still on bricks. I'm playing golf at Parow on Sunday 8 o'clock and would like contribute but don't know anyone on the forum. It would be great if one of you guys can maybe pick the stuff up at the club?

I think best is to plan another charity run for the new year (very unfortunate the way this has turned out). Due to the low numbers of members able to attend, maybe just a short run would make sense, a nice way to close off 2012 etc. So definitely still keen!
