the last convoy was "not my thing"...too much concentration to stay in the convoy, some driving way too fast for my liking, some harsh braking and bunching up, to stay in position in the convoy, the convoy split, because some (like me) decided to be law abiding and stick to the speed limit, and the non overtaking zones.

Maybe I am too old, but the convoy drive was not what I would call a pleasant drive on a sunday morning.
but
I wouldn't mind the get out and about, and meet up at the end point in Culinan and see some nice cars too

what's the ETA for Culinan ?

It was the previous Cullinan breakfast run, possibly more than a year ago
I am too old to want to concentrate on remaining within the convoy, a leisurely cruise it wasn't
I still had my old E39 then

I recall being in that Convoy... I don't recall anyone passing the pace car which was a Cruze IRC, which also did speed limits. Maybe further down the line guys were trying to catch up due to the toll gates etc.

In any case, we've had many other B Runs and no issues. But you welcome to meet us at the venue, however if you see the Convoy coming, please allow us to pass...

Im any case, we've had many other Bruns and no issues. But you welcome to meet us at the venue, however if you see the Convoy coming, please allow us to pass...

the convoy started doing the "childrens SLINKY" thing, harsh accelerating, harsh braking, to try and be a part of the convoy, which was way too much concentration for a sunday morning leisurely drive.
eventually I was the lead of a break away portion, (probably tail end charlie), and found myself being dangerously overtaken on solid white lines and blind corners etc.......way too much stress for me to consider it "enjoyable"

in fact I would probably like to be at the end of the convoy, and drive at my own pace and style, and arrive half hour later ...LOL

I had my son with me and yes one has to be careful travelling in any convoy and the bunching up cannot be avoided especially in large numbers.

There was spirited acceleration from the toll gates and other stops, recklessness? Not that I saw.

The wife has plans on Sunday, so if I join, both my kids will be tagging along.

If you leave the Dealership last, i doubt you will have any issue at the tail end.
