Hi Fanatics,
I am looking at buying my friends X3 f25, it’s in great condition I took it to ZF for a full check it’s all good.

It has a couple things that need attention, namely the left front spot light is cracked and needs replacing and the boot lock button mechanism underneath the badge doesn’t unlock by hand (it works fine by remote still)

If got a price from my mech who got price I think OEM at R3000 for the spot light.

Can anyone point me in the direction of where best to source these 2 parts? Scrap yard (BM parts?) or OEM? Aftermarket?

Thanks

Agree with FILV here, chat to Deago. I found the part from him were cheaper many a time than even a scrappie. Then you also get the benefit of having a warranty on that part as well :)

Scrappies are ridiculously priced these days, seems like they count on people just assuming the agents price will be more expensive.

scenario: checks part at scrappy...calls for pricing...scrappy says they will get back to me...

scrappy calls agents, gets new pricing...

replies after a day with pricing...R50 discount on the agents price
