but BMW bring in tones of car parts very month so shipping is minimal for them and the have a wide dealer network that ships stuff around all the time...

there really is no excuse if dealers in other countries can sell at those prices they can do so here...

"BMW Parts" is a quality brand on its own. Even though the "pirate" parts might be cheaper, the quality will be a problem(I hope not)
Fact is BMW does rip us off.....ALOT, so competition will be excellent!

Ai all parts are not made by bmw. Lights are made by HELLA or Lucas. Alternators are made by Bosch or Lucas. BRAKES are ATE. Clutches are mainly LUK lutches. Gearboxes are GM or ZF.
So now it means more places can actually import from the supliers directly OEM parts and sell it for a fraction of the price, and not sacrifice qaulity
:bravo:

Agreed, Sachs makes the fan clutches, Bosch the plugs, etc... Go price a fan clutch at a dealer, and then see the massive difference between the non-BMW stamped one.
