My experience with BMW on these things is that they will do nothing unless you throw all your toys violently. Sad as it is, thats what you will have to do.
Dont be skrik, show them how our "circle is beeger" and expose them on forums. When they understand that you will not shut up and accept it, is the only time, any action will get taken. There was another forumite who complained on an F20 here as well, and it took him approximately 5 weeks to get it sorted, even theough the brand new cars' paint was clearly defective with swirls, deep scratches, misaligned panels etc.
On a brand new car purchase like this, the CPA is in your favour, use it. BMW management are a bunch of useless 'cant-care-less" fools in my opinion and you should not be too lax with them, or they will eat you for lunch.
Undoubtedly, they will tell you they have to investigate, if they outright stated that the car was shyte, that would be a blatant admission that they sold you a defective product, which they obviously cant do.
Let them investigate, but make sure they understand that you want it sorted out asap or else...
Many guys on the forum here have had trouble with BMW Sa not repairing properly, not ordering/ fitting the right parts, saying things were fixed/when they were not etc, so dont play. Dalla them. If you dont know what that means, ask other chaarous on the forum.
The thing about this type of thing that always grinds my gearbox, is the fact that the dealership should have picked up this crap and never shunted the car to you. but they didnt. and now, they tell YOu, the customer to fight the fight with BMW SA, saying things like, its out of our hands, we agree with you, let us know what we can do to help you fight this with BMW SA. In reality, its all bullshit, they are at fault and now pass the buck to BMW SA and leave you to fight it alone.
