Buy a preformance car and then told you can't use it on the track. I understand competing racing but a track day here and there won't make that much of a difference (unless you crash but then I totally understand your motorplan being revoked)
I have heard too that porsche will cancels motorplan if you track your car but I then you get brands like Ferrari where I know personally are all for trackdays and letting the customer enjoy the car the way it should be.

I cant understand why you would do that though... so sad, they have been battling to try sell the car.
I wonder if one could purchase an aftermarket plan in this case?

I do know of someone who purchased one of these cars and added an aftermarket plan to it. I think he only claimed for brakes so far which they paid for in full. Will try to get details.
I actually don't think this car is particularly cheap for one with no plan since you can (for very little more than the advertised price) get one with no issues and lower mileage.

aaaah ok, atleast there is hope for those who will get a luck at some point.
I also dont think this is that cheap all things considered, also when buying a vehicle on this, its almost like a marriage because it would be really hard to resell this... so someone must be prepared that they will keep a car like this for a long time after they purchase.

Look at the end of the day I think in a few years time you will get as much for this car as you would for one where the plan has ended 'naturally' provided you have kept up with the maintenance. I don't think it is as potentially suicidal as owning an E60 out of plan LOL

So you pay R700k for this, get a bad batch of fuel, and then need to fork out R350k for a new engine (https://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=76593) or get a broken one for R100k, fix it for another R100k. Then you are R900k deep into the car. As luck would have it, seeing how it happened recently, you drop a DCT box a month later. Another R200k to spend. Now you ower R1.1m on a used BMW when you could've had a new one and not worry. Touch wood nothing else breaks as you would then own the most expensive 2014 M in the country and you havent even serviced it or replaced the tires. Maybe you can make a couple of Memes about that or a bumper sticker to make your wallet feel better... Or maybe, as MP is for girls, you dont give a f*ck and look forward to the next challenge the M will throw in your direction.
