Prices start from R890 i assume that would be for the 4 cylinder cars, prices should increase from there on for 6,8,10 cylinder cars

Guys - i went for this service before...once done it totaled R2400.

on a normal day, i went in for the exact same service and worked out less LOL

If it goes through at something like that price its very good. my last motorplan oil change was R1290 and that is the lowered motorplan price. Busy now booking for an oil change again so will report back on cost

I always pay around that for an Oil service on my car at SMG , I think maybe less? I should check my receipt as I just had an oil service and holiday check done a week or so ago I think, When in there I always ask them to do other things but the oil service is around that price . This on my 4 cylinder N42 E46 .

Its probably more expensive on a 6 cylinder car .

Oh yes this time I asked them to replace the fuel pump seal that was the only extra

They couldn't find the rattle I have coming from under the car

Got a quote today for oil change and filter for E70 X5 3.0d for R1400 at Forsdicks. Didn't know about the special, car is just due for a service and I requested a quote.

I just had my car serviced at JSN yesterday, worked out to about R2800 for the oil service and filters...oh yes, thats on a six cylinder.

Hi

R890 is for the 4 cyl petrol, is for the oil, oil filter and labour only. The prices go up a bit due to the 6 cyl has more oil and the diesel oil is a different price to the petrol models.

Hi gents,

The oil service service special is for oil and oil filter only. No micro filters etc. the R890 is for 4 cylinder petrol vehicles.

either way its cool to see the prices from different dealers, my service is Thursday then I will report back on normal oil service for 330d f30
