BMW Newbie : )

Good day Guys
Just wanted to say Hi to everyone, and introduce myself.
I have always been a car guy, been building and modifying cars since I can remember. I have always loved turbo cars and been a Toyota guy my entire life…..
BUT, I’ve recently bought a 2006 e90 BMW 330d in which they have done an engine swap. It now has a Toyota 2jz-gte engine. It’s all pretty stock at the moment but I’m planning to build a really strong daily driver. I’m sure the BMW purists hate projects like these but I like the idea of having a decent car that can handle a lot of power comfortably. I’ve run into some snags and issues along the way but I’m sure I will learn a lot from the forum going forward.
Well this was my introduction.

Post some pics of the ride here and I'd suggest creating a build thread to document the DIYs you've done as I'm sure more ppl like me would love to read up on it!

Thank you for the warm welcome.

I will take some pics and start a build thread even though the engine bay still looks a bit rough :bin:.

I honestly think the previous owner just decided to give up on the project. I don't mind as it will serve as a nice base to begin with and is driveable at the moment.

And no I'm not stig46's son, wouldn't that make me stig23 then :rollsmile:.
