BMW New M3/M4 Pricing

I cannot see how they justify that price.The previous car was an eight cylinder and the new one six. It takes far more technology to make a eight cylinder rev and make the power output.Turbo is the lazy way to make hp so i don't believe the car should cost more and in fact should be a lot cheaper.
This I believe is all due to price and demand.If there was not so much hype and people putting down deposits the cars would come cheaper.
I like most would also love to get one but I believe and item should afford the value you pay for.
I will sit back and wait till i can get the right price.
Just for interest i was offered a 2012 m5 with 26000km on last week for 850k.So how do i now compare what a M3 should go for.

I love the Gtr for its pure speed, i mean look at the 0-100 time and compare the price bracket its in, but the interior is not premium and you can feel it, sound is nice but not M5 nice, ride is a bit to hard for me compared to the m5 and no one is going to track the Gtr that much were handling is the comparison, sorry for the threadjack. I would buy the M3 if i could afford it and if pricing came in under a bar

GTR is fast ... Surgically fast ... For me when I drive a car it must put a smile on my face ... There is some point of fast where faster doesn't matter to me,and it's more about experience. A GTR is most probably quicker than a 458 Ferrari but I think the 458 at more than three times the value of a GTR is worth it (to me) ... Unless I'm dragging racing all the time, but I personally don't ... Never took to the gtr ... When I drive one immediately thought of the e92 M3 and how I'd choose the E92 over the gtr ... But that's just me
