If you warm it up properly before you start driving every time you use it, don't over rev it, check oil levels regularly and changed bearings as soon as you got the car, I doubt you'll ever have that issue.
Don't quote me on this coz it was about 2 months ago but Tune Tech quoted me around 160k to rebuild and reinstall a V10 in an M6. So for an M3, I'd guess it might be a bit less.
If you you email them, they'll be more than willing to help with a quote.
