Hi all
I would love some advice please
i recently had my 2002 FL 320D E46 BMW serviced at a BMW garage like it always has. They informed me of the rear diff bushes that are torn and need to be replaced and front control arm bushes. Now when i looked at the quote it was R4500 for them the problem is they say there is 33 of the diff bushes at a price of R47.50 each now i know they just making up the quantity so the price matches the actual part they need to replace. my question is how many bushes is there really and how hard is it to replace them yourself. Oh and 4 months back i had the front control arm bushes replaced already :yuck: so they talking &^$&$ there. now they didnt seem to pick up that the rear of the car is sagging which i have been told is the coil springs that need replacing. i am also looking at that (ERG valve) i keep hearing about and how to blank it or delete it as has been suggested, i have already opened it and looked and it was quite clean except for the hard carbon build up on the small side inlet pipe. any suggestions or links to solve these issues would be awesome
