Cool air is good for the cars :=):

I just don't want to wash my car and get splatters on it. Yeah, I'm petty like that

Hi guys,

Sorry to be a pain....but where are we/you going to congregate at the track.

Not met anyone from the forum so not sure the plan ;)

Thanks

shiraz (organiser) mentioned somewhere in the informational post that E30's/E46's/Z4's etc are going to be shown places to park together, while I think Twinz asked if it wouldn't be better if we park by car club, i.e. BMWFanatics, BM Squad etc...haven't heard back AFAIK. Some of us are meeting at N1 City McDonalds at 08:30 and heading to the track together, if that helps?

well... My day has not quite gone as planned. I did get the car back late yesterday (see my showroom thread). Today I wanted to wash, polish and wax, but ended up being in town so long that I only realy had enough time for a good wash and clean inside. O well, see you guys tomorrow.

For those meeting at Mcdonalds...thats cool. BMWFanatics and the BMW Car Club Cape Town will have a reserved allocation at the track. Just follow the BMWfanatics & BMW club banners. From there we can work out all the parking arrangements. I understand from Shiraz that there will be marshalls explaining the parking arrangements as you arrive at the track..if that fails just try and find our dolphin banners.

Well, ok, so it's been a bit of a mission deciding who/ what to take tomorrow...and after spending the afternoon at my mech's looking over the car, taking it for a test drive and putting it on a diagnostic, it looks like the Scheiße-boxen is headed for the track! Well, going to have to take it easy, as the suspension is pretty wooly, but I might just go for a few laps WHAT THE HELL...was considering the 540i6 but I really don't want any oopsies with her, so off to go wash the E36....see you guys at Micky-D's @ 08h30 sharp! BTW diagnostic showed no errors. She's overfeulling a bit though and she seems to like to drink and smoke a little bit, but not sure yet to what extent. She's pulling well though and mech is happy that the engine is strong. Wish us luck.
