I would like to suggest a Spring Picnic at HillCrest quarry early in spring as one of our future monthly family runs.

Please also take a look at my post on HillCrest as a potential venue for a large BMW Fanatics Western Cape event in summer.

Well, hopefully we get more of these wonderful calm and clear winter days over weekends, so many wonderful routes and places to enjoy! :joy:

I was saying to someone yesterday how awesome those roads are to drive. There are some great driving roads in Gauteng but you have to travel relatively far and over some dodgy roads (if you go the back ways) to get to the good roads. These brilliant driving roads in the Cape are on your back door step, it's brilliant. And the great thing is that they beg you to give the car a bit of tap!
I really am looking forward to the next one. If the weather is half decent this weekend I might just take a solitary drive out Fairview way again for the hell of it to explore and give it a boot full!
