If I had your number I would've called you! You were conspicuous by your absence....:fencelook:
But at least you got a sort of run!:roflol:

Sorry, forgot to mention, thanks must be given to Mark for organising the venue, Uli for opening up his restaurant for us at Maranellos, Carbon for putting it together with Mark and for all who attended!

Guys I would like to thank you all for a fantastic turnout for the BMW Fanatics Breakfast at Maranellos. We had 22 BMWs in a row and Chef Uli reports serving about 50 breakfasts. He also says thanks for the turnout, and is promising more variety such as breakfast Pizzas for the next visit. :blab:
The weather was so good that after Breakfast at Maranellos some of us took a wonderful drive on the back road past Philadelphia and through to Fairview where we did a wine and cheese tasting.

Once again guys thanks for a great turnout. :bravo:

I will attempt to have pics up on the Maranello's website, trattoriamaranello.co.za by tomorrow evening as I need to use my after 11pm free bandwidth.

Sorry Dax. I would have phoned u if I knew u went the wrong way. Thought you had to leave for other plans.

After the Fairview run, Nick (118) and I decided to go thru the tunnel and back over the pass. Wanted to hear my exhaust in the tunnel. Did a voice recording of it. Nick did a video of me

Today we did 185kms

I agree Guys.
I already have a great venue in mind Hillcrest Quarry. The venue has a large lawn on which we can park the cars on show, plenty of parking in parking areas up above and possibly even invite sponsors to set up stalls etc. Maybe have a show and shine and invites some other clubs to join us. I can arrange food and even a couple of live bands for the day.

Nice view guys so that is where you disappeared to while we were doing wine tasting :flyfun:

I will start a new Post for a HillCrest Quarry event once I I have had a chat with my friends that are running the venue, OK

I agree with Dax. It's a nice social event and the kids love it! My wife, who isn't remotely interested in cars, had an awesome time and is really looking forward to the next one. With so many beautiful venues in the Cape it would be fantastic to visit each one as a club member. On one condition though....the CSL has to be there each time....:roflol:
But it really was a fantastic morning. Thanks again guys! I will put up the photos I took. Not that my camera is ANYTHING like Dax's.....:fencelook:
