What's been the experience of these engines after plan in terms of maintenance? Is extension of motorplan when time comes critical ?

So my car is on 88000km and has motorplan till 16 April 2019. I think more than likely I would hit the 100k km mark before then so asked for a motrplan extension for 20k km in the hopes that come time expiry of the motorplan, I would still have kilometers and would just need to buy time.

The car is my everyday work horse. The quote I got was R31500.00 odd for the 20k km.
