BMW E90 Remote sunroof raise?

Hi guys,

Wonder if you can shed some light, I just took custody ( you can never really own a BMW :) ) of a 2011 BMW 320d, and I could swear that right after I test drove it, I somehow used the key to raise ( not open ) the sunroof.

Nowhere that I've found mentions this as a feature, so it's quite possible that I was dreaming..

Anyone know if/how this is accomplished?

Thanks!

Hey :)

Congrats on the new car!

Try hold down the "unlock" button. This will open sunroof (as well as all the windows too I think)

Hope this helps bud!

I know about this feature ^^

Unfortunately, that's opening the roof entirely, I just want it in the "tilt" position.

Some more googling has turned up nothing, starting to think I was mad :(

Thanks anyway!

I looked everywhere, but might have missed something? Are you taking a guess, or do you know if there's somewhere I could start looking?

Thanks!

Congrats with new car.
However, I don't think you can just tilt the sun roof with the remote.

I would start by asking the dealer directly
I know on my X6 they can program that when i lock the car my mirrors will automatically fold in, at the moment it has to be done manually

I will be getting the dealer to do this when car goes in for next service

The roof could have been slightly open when you first picked it up.

When you hold down the lock button to close windows and the roof, it actually pops up (raises) briefly before it closes fully...

I don't think it can be programmed to raise only.

This might be it!

Will test this evening, thanks for the input everyone!

let us know if you come right - would be cool to do to my 323 as well.
