I was at Bedfordview in August, they told me I need to have my battery terminal cable replaced as part of a campaign but they never had the part. Still waiting for a call from them for when they have the part.

I checked the website, it confirms technical campaign found.

You want to get that done before you experience symptoms. In my case first the car would just seem to lose all power, like battery was disconnected.Wouldn't respond to the key, and then it would "miraculously" come alive again after like 5 mins. Figured I had a faulty battery and got a new one, was fine for a while but then the episodes started again.Then they got longer, sometimes up to several ours. Worst was when it would do this mid drive..... after that I took it to the dealer and they diagnosed and performed the campaign for me at their expense.No issues at all after that.

I saw my e90 has a recall, i completed the forms and will see what happens, maybe they can replace my battery terminal also. My airbag light is on.

Thanks for this. I got a call back from BMW with two campaigns on my '11 E90 320D:
1) Blower/ wiring
2) Battery terminal

While I was on the call, I thought I'd get a quote for a service.......
