Afternoon guys,

I seem to have in-counted a problem, I was driving to church this morning and all of a Sunday excuse the pun, my wifes car a E90 325i exclusive 2007 model decided to flicker all the warning lights and then switch the radio off and stopped.

Then we decided to start up again after a couple of minutes and all was normal again, do you guys know what this could be?

Thanks
Khaya

I would start with the obvious. Have you checked the battery and its terminals? Modern cars may be digital, but the old ways of breaking down are still with us. Good luck.

Hi Maljan,

I checked all the terminals and they seem to be tightly fitted and battery looks great

Def sounds like regulator. An altenator should pull all electronics and above that charge a battery. If the battery is faulty and causing the mentioned issued then your alternator/regulator is on it's way out as well. A battery alone would not cause the issues while engine is running. Take it to a battery centre and have them test both battery and the alternator.

Hi Guys, i had a similar issue some time back. When i started the vehicle, after few minutes i get all the warning lights coming on intermittently. I had it checked out and my battery was running very low. Once i replaced the battery all the faults disappeared.

I hope this helps you?
