BMW E90 320i windows and mirrors

Hi all, I recently bought a 320i E90, my electric windows and mirrors dont want to work at all from the driver side switch. The windows do work from the remote, and at the other doors all work fine, but just at the driver door nothings happening? Had it at a local "mechanic" with a diagnostic machine, they stripped the whole bloody dashboard, gave it back to me a week later, sorry, we suspect its the switch, but cant tell for sure.
If I know for sure its the switch, I'll buy one, but dont want to buy if its not the problem Can anyone maybe help, or maybe had the same problem. I live 175km from Cape Town, and dont want to go to the Dealers. Thanks in advance guys. Stiaan

I have the same problem you experienced - I have a E90 330i - tried my switch in another car and it works - computer error message is window lifter module. Did you resolve your problem?
Your advice will be appreciated.
