Funny how it's only people on here that claim that the blackline LCI's require recoding/an updated module, yet there are several threads on international forums proving that they (the blacklines) are plug-and-play for ALL 135's.

:dunno: but you ask Upncoming and he'll tell you that he couldn't get the LED bits working. :mmm:

"OEM Part #: 63212225282 (Xenon version of the taillights) ARE 100% PnP with any 1 series car (128 or 135) in production in the world! Please see note about the Halogen set below though... THE HARNESS IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THESE TO WORK." - Satalite

Translation: The tail lights you are looking at are 100% PnP with ALL 1 series cars in the WORLD. (aka doesn't matter what model, also doesn't matter what year)

But I understand you want to be 100% sure before spending $350 dollars. What I'd do is send Satalite a PM and ask him.

Its been proven in past LCI threads that the Xenon LED tails will work just fine on Halogen equipped cars. No extra adapter harness is necessary. IF you are getting LCI Blacklines order the #282 kit - that comes with both tails - it is cheaper than order each tail light separately.

The Halogen (cheaper ones) DO NOT work on halogen equipped cars 2008-2011 and cause the parking/running lights to not work

From what I have experimented with and found out is that if you fit LCI lights to a pre-revised car, aka, late 2010 and earlier, the DRL's won't work, but the rest of the light will function 100%.
I have since tested LCI tails on my car (late 2010) and my module works perfectly. DRL's and everything function 100%. For your sake I hope they function without any issues bud.
