Its simple,

You either have spark or you dont.

You can visibly check for spark by removing one of the coils, putting a long flat screwdriver into the coil,

Put your tounge on the screw driver, let somebody film it, and put it on youtube.

:tiptoe:

Seriously, take the screw driver and hold it 1 or 2mm away from a place where you know you have a decent ground. Try and crank, you should see spark.

If you have spark, then check fuel

Fuel can be easily diagnosed by spraying some EZstart into the intake while cranking, if the car takes for half a second, you have a fuel supply problem, fuel pump ect.

If you have spark, and the car will not start using the quickstart or EZStart, then its compression.

Which means either bad timing, or botched repair job, then do a compression test.

If it is no spark, then crank sensor is your most likely cause, but diagnostics will give you an indication.

No spark could also be caused by unpaired EWS's, and a host of other bits.

Try the spark test, if spark test is fine, you are 50% there,

Is this safe, both for the person and the electronics?
