BMW e46 Compact with s54 engine in SA??

Hi Guys stumbled upon this now!

Cant find this on the forum. This car is in SA, anyone know who owns this car??

I met the guy at a car show a month or two ago, he has really done a fantastic job of it. he has spared no expense. everything is from an e46 M3 literally, interior to brakes you name it, when I first saw it I thought it was a legit compact M3, was really confusing because I knew BMW never made a production compact M3

Has he still kept the ugly ti front end?

I have worked on this car already, whoever did the conversion left the stock open diff and 318ti brakes on there. Also they never bothered to swap in the M3 fuel pump so the poor S54 was being fuelled by the stock 318ti fuel pump which couldn't keep up with the fuel demand over 40% throttle.
I fixed that by fitting a Z4 Mcoupe fuel pump, now it runs nicely. Still trying to source 330i brakes all round for it though.

:thumbs: Yikes for the stock brakes, Please get pictures next time you work on it gizmo! What mangement is it running? standard m3 MSS 54?

Yup he said he was having problems finding a diff, something about the M3 diff didn't fit..... I was under the impression the brakes where changed, must be mistaken or he changed them since, anyways I can't remember what bumper he had I think I remember him saying he imported a kit, I do know he had a custom back bumper built, I have a picture of the back will post it when I have my laptop handy.
