Wow, this really looks nice!! I know most don't like wood trim, but in a way it is becoming more unique if that makes sense - personally I think it gives a car an upmarket feel even if it is not the more sporty type trim. Prefer it to the brushed aluminium that most cars these days have.

Change the oil every 10k km and this engine will go on and on!! Tons of handy DIY's for these cars, and loads of very knowledgeable people on this forum.

Nice find:thumbs:

Having owned a few I6 my self there really is nothing like it when chasing it to the redline through gears.

Enjoyed it more than my V8:fencelook:

Enjoy Bud. I loved that engine.. and if you look after it, it will go forever.

I had a 330ci in the uk (coupe not convertible) and when I sold her, she had 320 000 miles on the clock (about 510000km) I serviced her at BMW and besides lots of control arms and bushes and normal items, she still ran like new!!

Awesome purchase!

Thank for all the well wishes

I too like the Mtech 1 bumper

I am planning on keeping it just the way it is at the moment

I am going to change all the fluids, the main belts and the expantion tank nex week

Will is be worth it to remove the cats, from what i understand there are 4?
Will it increase the fuel consumption and performance?

I must say, the fuel consumption is not that bad, it's better that my old 318is:thumbs:

Congrats on the car man, hope you have many happy trouble free miles with her:thumbs:

Car looks in a top top condition.

If i am you dont worry with your cats now spend all the money you can on getting the car in tip top mechanical condition. The cats you can do if you know everything else has been seen too. This is just my 2 cents worth.

Service car - major (plugs, air, oil etc)
Replace belt/s
Replace gearbox oil
Replace diff oil
Replace fuel filter
Check water pulley for cracks
Check idle pulley etc for bearing noises
Check belt tensioner
Check battery quality
Replace LCA bushes
Check Disa Valve
Check windscreen water washer
Replace thermostat
Replace expansion tank
Check radiator
Check AC
Replace headlamp and spots bulbs with Osram Nightbreakers
Check Brakes - pads and disks
Have the car checked for any errors on a code scanner

When you done with all the above do Vanos seals then after that do cats:rollsmile:

Dont want to scare you but these are the things to look out for before worrying about doing your cats. As the cats becomes quite pricey at the exhaust manifold. So instead of spending the money on the cats rather spend it on the above items first:thumbs:

Goodluck and enjoy the 6 cylinder sound track :inlove:

Not to bad for a 330i
This was 80% highway driving, at 110/120km/h

Haven't update for a while.

Since i owned it, i done clear indicators, 6 speed weighed gear knob.

Not a days trouble, absolutely love this car!
Obviously done all the preventative maintenance, and is serviced every 10k

I think @KPM330's car has those 'vents' ...they're part of a lower lip, if I'm nit mistaken.
