Been a while

Car currently standing on 196xxxkm.

So yesterday i "gently" opened the butterfly valve in my exhaust, noticed it was stuck closed.

Car now sounds much better, and seems to breath easier, if that makes sense.

Look at the gunk that came out. :bin::thumbdo:

Anybody else had this problem?

Had the car for more that 3 year, did more than 80k and the car is running better that ever. Best daily ever!!

Hmm also need to do this. Forgot about it since it cant be done on the 318, but definitely on the 330!

Still can't post new pics.

The car is still at Garage 808, they need to replace the Disa flp, rear diff bush, and the sump gasket, only get the car back on Thursday.

Costing me few spare change this month, but still worth it

Took photos just now so time for a small update.

Currently standing at 216 000km.

Just did a major service at Garage 808.
Together with cleaning the air intake and disa valve.
Also in the last year, I did bushes front and back.
New radiator, water and petrol pump.
Did the steering wheel angle sensor.
4 x New Tyres front and back at 210k
Clutch was done at around 160 000km

I enjoy this car more and more, still drives as the day i got her, maybe even better!

Car looks good bud!

Noticed you are missing the lower bumper pieces.. They are about R250 each from the dealer and come in two styles:

Thanks KPM_330 all get my self some from BMW, like the open cover.

Just double check part numbers. To my knowledge, the specified covers for our cars are the full covers. The diesels came with the open covers.

That being said, my car has the open cover and I am thinking about changing to the full cover to complete the full look of the air dam. Have a look at my showroom thread to see how it looks on mine.

Congratulations Leon!

Straight 6 howl makes up for ANY fuel consumption losses against a diesel.
And the 330i can be very economical if driven sensibly.

I have personally witnessed 6.2L/100 average on a long run.

BTW - is that nappa leather?

.......and i like the amber :fencelook:

Chris, I got 6.2l/100 on a trip to Nellspruit and back, actually took a picture of it.
Going to Uvongo in 2011, I got 6.8l/100 but my foot was "heavy" the last 170kms of the trip...

The 330 Diesel Bmw's are the best cars in the world !

Looking very good!

Interesting, you have clear indicators front and front sides, but not rear.
