It might also be worthwhile looking for a complete donor car, as then you get everything, engine, loom, DME, lockset, keys etc.

Oops, sorry misread your post.

I am not to sure what M50's go for, which M50 is it, but for all that it does sound like a pretty good deal, as it is normally hard to find all the stuff that goes with the engine.

It,s the non vanos E36 325i. These are all goodies for my E30 restoration.

Engine Condition ? Driveshaft ? Price is fair ,would say R10K is good for all -I know as my old rusty e36 325i is mechanically good-just looking for a e30 with less than 50kg rust !!

l phoned a guy from Gumtree who has a decent E30 (4 door, sunroof, recaro leather seats etc). l asked him how much he,ll sell me the car minus engine, gearbox, CPU & Loom. His asking price was 17k. ls it me or is that excessive?
