Good Morning gents & gals

Well this morning I wasted Freerider's forum browsing time by taking him to look at a E36 320i which I thought drove "nicely" only for him to announce I was a retard and could do better.

Since I cant drag Don along to every car I look at.. What are common issues on these cars and what should I look for?

I have about R30 000 to play with, and would prefer a 320i over a 316 or 318 (Its all about the noise).

If anyone knows of some good bargains or finds something for sale they feel is worthwhile please post it up for me. :inlove:

Help me find a BMW! (Never thought I would utter those words)

My first BMW was a E36 320, it's a great car thirsty like a 325 but power like a 318 unfortunately, but it is a I6 and I enjoyed the whatever power it had to offer.

The only problem I had with mine is the suspension, but after a full suspension overhaul it was

Good luck with the search, check for a 325/328 if you want a good I6.

The 328i is in Germiston, I am from Cape Town.

So it would be better to grab a 318i over a 320i?

i dont know the 318i seems over priced because people think they lighter on fuel... least with the e46 its like this...

look for a 323-325i you should be able to find one in your budget... maybe you get lucky and you find a 328i

Perhaps you should look for a E34 with that budget there are quite alot of clean E34 525's on the Gum.

Here's an example below, although its an auto.
