BMW E34 540I Automatic

Good day fellow 34 owners.
I am the proud owner of a e34 540i automatic and I am seriously in love with this car.
I am not a very handy DIY type of guy and I would like to have this car serviced. Oil, plugs, filters etc.
Any recommendations? I am on the West Rand.

PS: I called a auto shops, not going to mention the name and this dude told me all sort of hogwash about how problematic these cars are from the day it left the showroom and how many other issues might crop up after he services the car and he wants to be happy etc. How true is this?

Nice, car saw it on Gumtree a few weeks ago. I do my own services on my 540i. There's a workshop on 14th Ave that helped me with removal and fitting of my gearbox. They are in the same property with the Checkers Hyper. As soon as you drive in they are on your left.
