Good day people..
Im having a slight issue with a misfire. I decided to take her on a 600km trip, mtn Bush fire in swaziland, which she behaved very well going.. Coming back was just a misfire journey.
She started missing slightly when I got to my journey, but would clear if I gas her hard. Eventually giving her gas didn't help and the miss didn't go away. So power wasnt fully there returning.
I've ran engine while taking out plug leads, seems 1 and 3 are the problem children.
Now no3 spark plug seems to be burning brown while no1 is on the black side.
I fit new plugs and no diff. I swapped the leads around, no diff.... 🙆‍♀️
Any more suggestions before I remove head. Mite check injectors as well

Check the distributor cab and rotor? Give the points a clean with emery paper, check for any cracks etc and measure the resistance on the spark plug leads, they should all be around 5Ohm if Im not mistaken. The fact that it got progressively works indicates that it is not a catastrophic mechanical failure

So.... Changed the distributer from a friends car(isadore), no improvement. Changed the lead wires from 2 to 1, nothing.. Decided ill hope onto the injectors. This time, no1 cyl was making no diff with the lead wire off..
Removed injector, connected it to battery, spray Q20 into it and it seems to be spraying. Fit back in car, connect and crank without injectors being fitted in slots, in a clear view....All spray..
Fit back everything back, crank and she PURRRRS..
Now I'm still not sure if it was the injector or some loose wire/plug.
