so after lurking on the forum, i would have gotten a E46 330d from my boss's mum, she however changed her mind.
paid for a 2001 E46 320D manual, high mileage but well taken care of and i got the service history from john while it was on motorplan with no major faults so it seems that this might not be one of the duds.
know the seller very very well, infact she is my daughter's day mother.
selling my Astra Coupe, settling some small debts and loans then will have about 15k to spend on maintenance.
had a service (oils/filters) very recently, but thinking fresh gearbox oil, diff oil will be good.
turbo was inspected few months ago and according to her husband it's still good.
i believe they didnt come with swirl flaps so dont need to remove them.
now to maintenance - i am in kempton park, can you advise anybody in my area to give it a good inspection ?
