BMW Car Club and Fanatics Breakfast run on 1 Aug

Cubana is having a “F1 Charity” event at their branch in Stellenbosch on 1 Aug. From 10:30am till about 4pm. Its a lamb spit braai (buffet) for R110.

I went to the 1 last year. It was great fun.

We need to buy the tickets before hand. Please either post below that you definitely coming (so that I can reserve tickets) otherwise you can contact them direct. They got 100 tickets.

We'll meet up at McDonalds, N1 City, at 8:30. Leaving at 9am.

Yes, 8th is cancelled. We gonna do a combined run now, instead of having 2 run's.

Revo my suggestion is that we cancel the 8th for the 1st....it will give an extra impetus to the breakfast run to actually go "to something" and make a contribution to charity. Fairview would have cost us R105 per person....but we can do that run in summer...there will be lost of runs in the future:wave:

Will they have enough parking spaces for about 30 or more cars? I assume the run will start from Cubana...do we know the drive route from there?

Looking on Google Maps, there's parking across the road.

The run is our own route to Cubana. Then we remain there at Cubana for the braai, F1 and the
charity raffle

i think the bmw club should still have their official launch as a separate event though...hosted/organised by the bmw club.

Carbon130 was tasked by the club to start preparing a breakfast run. He is our event coordinator. And i am in agreement with him that 1 August is a good start for the club and joining up with Fanatics makes sense.

It will still be our own route & run. Its only the final destination that changes...instead of Wimpy or Fairview or Mcdonalds...we end up at Cubana. It also takes away the shlep of having to organise the breakfast. Also remember the club will have another event in August and quite a few in September according to our calender.:thumbsup:
