Some great photos of the run!!! It was great fun guys, cant wait for the next one!!

@ Twinz, do you have the pic of my engine cover dropping from the draft?

I spotted that..., it's loose on the left hand side, looked further back than the engine though.

Menno you will see it easier from the back...ask Autoquip to just lift the car for you and do a check...but it could be slowing your already fast car down...

Did I see some1 suggesting a run on monday??? count me in for the next run anytime it happens. Going 200km/h plus never felt that legal! And maybey at the next 1, some intro ductions, it would be nice to put faces to the names :)

Yeah, never before has my right foot and my logical brain had such a damn fight as last Sunday. Made worse by 50% of the power to spare with brain in lockup. Sometimes wish I was 18 and fearless again.

I hate having to back off in that delightfull territory where 99% of other cars can't even go.

We so need a few autobahn's here in SA

Menno you can actually screw/tap in bolts anywhere on the edge of the covers using the OEM bolt and clamp...you can also drill additional holes for extra bolts on the front/bumper side...you can get these from the dealer and they are cheap. Buy enough for spares. As i mentioned on Sunday BMW released a new cover for the e90 that fits/flush much better underneath the bumper....but it will set you back R700 - R900. Better to fix existing cover.

NB:This bit is important. There are two covers. The rear cover (small) must be fitted first. The front (big) cover then goes on (top) of the rear one so that when you drive forward the rear cover does not push down due to wind force and cause the drag. Hope this helps. If not, I can meet you on Friday morning at Autoquip to have her fixed...

Yes, that was me.

Think we'll have a small run. Either go to Blue Peter in Blouberg or Hout Bay side.
