Love that car! the looks of the 6er with the practicality of the 5er... and more luxurious than the 5er as well. Resale will probably be quite tricky to predict because it's an all new model. Probably better resale than the 5er because it costs more and it's more exclusive. Just my 2c...

You get 3 derivatives of the 6 series, the coupe (2 door), the convertible (2door) and the Gran Coupe (4door) otherwise referred to as the GC, are you not referring to the GC?

I haven't anything about a GT version, that's just in the 5 series.

Anyway, my aspiration is to get to the M6 GC one day, it's a very hot looking vehicle, now regarding resale, you will be better off buying one 2nd hand, new you will take a knock, as the demand for them isn't high. My friend bought a new M5 for R1200000, drove it for a year or so and did 17000km sold it for about R950000! If I had the extra money I would have bought it as he has taken the major knock on it.

Oh... i was thinking of the GC as well... there isn't a 6er GT. I agree that you'll take a knock buying new, but if you're spending a Mil on a car, you should probably spec it how you want it... :thumbs:

Just sold my 335i so i'm contemplating this.

I was thinking C63. however for abt 850k one can pickup a 2013 used 640 GC.
Its quiet closely priced with a 2012 C63 specced with between 5-10k mileage.

I feel the GC is so much more car for that kinda money.
