BMW 335i N54 OIL LEAK

My car is leaking oil slightly but only when the car parked on a sloped area.
On a flat surface there is no leak of oil.
Recently replace the oil gasket housing. The leak is still there.

Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Remove your engine cover and check if there's oil around your spark plug area... That's a sign of a failed tappet cover gasket

Trace the leak by removing the engine cover and the bottom covers...lets hope its not leaking from the sump.

I have an 325ci M54 engine doing the same only on downward slope. If facing uphill or flat -no leak. Been going on 3 years now and haven't really sorted cos i just park it facing up
Oil filter housing gasket changed - i thought this was the problem but no
Valve cover gasket is new
no leaks from anywhere above sump.
When i get time, I've decided i will replace the oil sump gasket cos I'm pretty sure that could be it given the mileage 174k kms

Also make sure it's not leaking from the gearbox cos that oil could drip down towards the oil sump and then you end up thinking its engine oil.
A leaking power steering hose(s) could also be misleading- dirty ATF is dark brown to black so check all those too so you're sure it's definitely engine oil.
Let us know when you find your leak as it might help me with mine

I have found that if there is a oil leak it is more prone to leaking from the engine cover when parked on a downhill slope, so this might also be the case.

Might also be the the front main seal but that would also leak while driving.

When I am face with something like this I always just remove as much covers I can, give the engine a good wash, let it dry, give it a drive and check for oil then, if you can not find the leak directly you at-least have a good indication of area to start searching.

Thanks guys.
Update.

I did manage to get the car on a lift.
Removed engine cover and the bottom cover.
It leaking from the sump. I could see that oil were leaking through the bolts around the sump area.

What would be the sump gasket replacement cost with labour?
I know that it will labour intensive task.
Any recommendations to get it done around Durban area?

I replaced my sump gasket 2 years back. (N52)
Costed me 3.5k for the parts from BMW - gasket and new bolts.

Got my mechanic to do the labor. Its an intensive task!
