Train may be logical, but who would say no to driving a 335i across the country? :inlove: I'd check tires, oil, water etc & drive it down. Some one on one bonding ;) Budget for fines if u r a speeder hehe.

Most certainly true, but happens more and more that you take to the road for a long journey like this and even after being careful end up with all sorts of stone chips, unforeseen road works/potholes etc. Of course, if you are regularly on the road and know what to expect and what to avoid then this isn't too bad.

Picking up my car on Saturday, CAN NOT WAIT! Got a friend Jozi who will be putting the car on the train Friday morning, it will be ready for collection at cape town station Saturday afternoon. So excited!

Thanks guys. I definitely will be taking Lotsa pics. I'll hopefully be going to Killarney on Saturday after I pick it up, maybe I'll take some pics there.
