Good day guys, I have been on the hunt for a clean E36 to use daily as I am fast putting mileage on my GTI as is daily driven and M3 is not an option:RedNo: for daily trips

I came across the advert on gumtree, link below and would like an advice as to what to look for when going to view the car and what sort of maintenance I will have to get done on it as soon as I acquire it if I do go for it.

E46 make better daily drivers. E36 are better for weekend toys.

Continue to drive your gti as the daily, they have good resale value no matter the mileage. The gti will be better on fuel over any e36 anyway.

The price looks good. If you buy it, be sure to keep a piggy bank stocked up for any repairs. And please keep it as original as the ad claims it is. No loud zorst, 18" wheels, spoilers, sound systems or slammed suspension!

But if you really like the idea of an E36 with half a dozen spark plugs, rather hold out for a 328i. I test drove the 325i quite a few times and also owned a 328i. There is quite a difference.
