depends on what you want to do with the car.
if you have a family and need boot space, 320i.....

BUT, that said I would rather have a 125i and put a roof rack on for the luggage and have an awesome care to drive...
hang on, since when do BMW make a 5 door 125i? thought only the coupe had that engine...

Go for the 125i A small and easy to get around plus your wife will have a SUV so you can use that for Holiday. Also its got plenty of power:rollsmile:

You going to sell your 335i?

Ja 335i gonna be traded in.

If trade in is too low, will try sell privately here for around R310000.

You going to miss the power of the 335i:cry: But i would go with the 125iA it is a awesome car plus it is 2L Turbo so I am sure there will be plenty modifying options:rollsmile:when you are ready.

Good luck with your new car hopefully you get a good trade on the 335i:thumbs:

125i is great fun to drive, no noticible lag and takes off without too much hassle and the fuel economy is far better than I thought it was going to be. a post on "bimmerpost" recons the BMW performace upgrade coming March 2013 will give you around 210-225kw on the fly if you feel it doesnt have enough grunt. for me personally std is good enough. the price estimate was 3100 euro so a bit pricey.

O, not that it really matters but the 125i and 320i both have a twin scroll turbo, basically a single turbo with two intakes.

have never been in a F30 320i so cant compare the two.

i have a manual, the R20k for the sport auto was a bit too much for me.

I drive short distances mostly so pretty much worst conditions for fuel economy and after 3800km have an average of 9.1l/km, that is better than corsa bakkie and focus i had before. did a mini test Sunninghill to Alberton and back, filled the tank before i started (circuit route) and driving with eco pro on and not exceeding 100km/h the trip computer said i averaged 4.2l/km for the trip. That isnt a practical example though as wont normally drive like that.

the other thing is eco pro is completely useless in town and dangerous if your a bit daft like i was, tried it once and overtaking another car and had the gas pedal planted, for 5 seconds or so nothing happend and then all hell broke loose as the car "realized" i needed power and then took off like a rocket.

That sounds like rubbish to me.
I dont know if there is such a big difference between them, but i have been driving a 120d man for a week now and always keep it in ECO PRO. Once your foot is welded to the floor it pulls exactly like it does in SPORT. NO DIFFERENCE.
I also prefer the linear throttle response in eco mode.

Here is a tip - If you want to go faster, press the accelerator pedal harder. No need to push buttons:idea:

maybe the diesel is different, no idea. but with mine in eco pro the needle travels over the rev range like your trying to swim through treacle, imagine two tons of turbo lag. in comfort or sport i havent noticed any difference though.

125i is nice and alot of fun, its a hot hatch and gives you alot of excitment especially with the traction control off and sport mode on.....

i sold a 125i to a customer of mine and he traded in his golf 6 gti, and his is very happy with the vehicle and its the best move he ever made.

both cars are much of a much on fuel depending on how heavy your foot is, the 320i sports is amazing but if you taking it then you must take sports pack 19z...sunroof...xenon lights and auto.....i have 1 as my company car and dam it looks hot.

but yet agen they are to diffrnt cars and it all depends what you looking for.

sweeet bud, u wna compare come through and you car test drive both and make you choice.
