How long is a piece of string...

Your best bet there is straight to diagnostics, your going to replace the world full of parts without even being close to the problem.

There are a few guys who does mobile diagnostics.

Where are you based ?

Best bet is to get the car to a decent workshop that has the correct equipment.

That N42 engine that you have in there is painful to diagnose.

2 months ago I had a similar problem took the car to a Bosch workshop and they diagnosed the cranck sensor faulty, they replaced the sensor, What are the chances of the cranck sensor packing up again?

Does the starter motor turn at least?
Do you lights go on?
Does your engine want to turn, but then dies?
When last did you service your car?
Where the spark plugs changed?
Is your alternator faulty?

The list is endless bud.
