If I remember, yes it's a colour match, bear in mind I did this about 5 years ago and struggle to remember what I had for breakfast lol.

Hahahahah :crazylaugh: you and me both thanks for the info i do appreciate it sent the original engine in for engineering work to be done and started with the engine transplant today.

Ok got the engine back last week decided not to put the e36 engine in the car just waiting for the last piece of the puzzle, The head. Got the whole engine redone new sleeves new pistons new conrod's new crank. Reassembled the whole engine i will probably get the head today started on the body so long. As it had minor dents and scratches on the body work got hat fixed.

This is one very big task you took on bud.

I have the exact engine in my E36 and it is a dreams once you get it where it is suppose to be.
