Thanks to Avi135 for allowing us to work on his car. The bonnet had some clear coat failure and stone chips which we fixed up and paint the full bonnet.

Also curious about the bonnet badge , Wont it leave a mark sort of like a circle in that area where the old paint meets the new paint?

Thanks for all the comments guys. Much appreciated.

With regards to the emblem, we did try to remove it but it seem to have been stuck down with some glue and rather than risk breaking it, we decided to mask it. We then used a little bit of blending thinners to "melt" the edge were the old paint meets the new so that it al becomes one.

Nice work, but it would have cost you nothing to remove the BMW badge and spray it nicely... now if someone pays close attention to the badge area or removes it, you can see the bonnet was worked on...

Thanks bud.

As explained in my previous post, we did attempt to remove the badge (we have experience with this sort of removal when doing VPS so its not that difficult). However, the badge seemed to have been stuck down using glue and not a double sided tape as normal. We dod however try to ensure that the areas was painted as seemless as possible.

And the cost of this?

Hi Chief
