Hi Gent

So i decided to park my old faithful off, and get something else
Thinking of the 130i M pack - real stunner, not to sure about the fuel and servicing tho?

And then there's the option of a 325i M pack also, smaller engine = less fuel!! Don't think it's a sporty as the 130i tho?:fencelook:

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

Thanks gents

130i is fun if you at the coast , at the reef where I am , they pretty disappointing , but good cars .

Also do you prefer the 1 series over the 3 series ? What kind of mileage , year models are you looking at , your price range ? You can get some good examples around the 180 - 210 budget . Still under motorplan for peace of mind too .

The 130i is more fun. Stay away from the 325i auto; it's a donkey of note!

I would first ask you: do you need space for family? If so, perhaps consider looking at a 3er.

The 130i is fun, and goes a lot better than a 2.5l 3er  Fuel consumption is also dependant on how you drive it.

My brother-in-law has a E90 323i, and he gets worse fuel consumption than I do (granted, he also drives the thing "like a cow").

All the modern engines are pretty decent though when it comes to fuel economy vs. Performance.

My 130i has 3x the power and torque of my corsa utility, yet it only uses 20% more fuel.

if you need the space for a family definitly the 3 series, even if you don't have kids yet but are thinking about it....

if you single.... 130i all the way!!! awesome cars! :praise:

Have you considered an E90 330d. It's a practical 4 door sedan with good consumption, but with a bit of added poke when you want it.

330d is a best of both power & economy. When you want to tweak it there is whole lot of potential to even scare a few M cars me thinks.

Any takes on that Fanatics...........

Get the 3 if you want space.....just not auto unless it's a d.

If you need the space don't even go near a 130. Cos you will end up taking it and not give a damn about the space....

I bought one and I need more space but finding it hard to part with the excitmant that car brings......
