BMW 120i Aux Fix

Hi

I just recently purchased a second hand E87 120i. The auxiliary port is not picking up on the radio. Is there a way to fix it myself??

What do you mean by its not picking it up. If you press audio is there no aux icon?

This is a common fault on the E87 cars. It also happened on my daughter's 118i and usually is the result of the battery being disconnected or discharged.

You will have to get the radio module re-coded to get the aux input back on the radio mode selection. We had the dealer do it during other maintenance work, but anyone who can perform coding can do it for you.
