Bluetooth Streaming Issues on new iDrive

Hi guys,

Just bought an M140i, which uses the new iDrive system. Unbelievable on the whole, but for some reason my Huawei Mate 10 Pro wont stream my music over bluetooth. Device looks like its paired properly - the music streaming is ticked on iDrive, and when I play music on the phone the sound doesn't play through the phone's speakers - so it thinks its connected.

Tried rebooting phone, clearing bluetooth cache, repaired phone like 10 times, still no luck.

Any ideas?

I noticed on android phones you have to go on to the Bluetooth settings and click on the device to allow the function for calls and music store streaming..

Perhaps check if there is a firmware update for your car.

Check for a software update for the iDrive, I know I had the same issue with my F20 when the Galaxy S6 was launched. once that was done I had no issues

Have you tried playing music with a different device/ phone?

This happened to me but it turned out to be the phone that was faulty, not the car...
