Hey guys, can anyone inform me how to connect my iPhone4 to my 2005 530d?
Have searched the forum and not found anything of use.

Please, please, please...

Got the document thanks, however this does not have the correct instructions for my 2005 530d.
It speaks of a button/switch on the centre console that needs to be pressed, mine does not have this button and I've looked everywhere properly.
Mine does have the bluetooth/phone buttons on the steering wheel though so it should be able to pair.
On the iDrive menu under "Communication" there is no "Bluetooth" option, all that is displayed under the phone section is "Contact your dealer", any ideas?
PS. When I contact the dealer they say to bring it in and of course there will be a charge...

Then you don't have bluetooth. Having the buttons on the steering wheel means you have a steering wheel with buttons on. That's all.

Sorry man - should have asked that. I drive is so simple - when it asks for code - U enter code on BMW say 00000 - then repeat on the units, :dunno: but u dont have connection sorry.

Its going to cost you much less to go to one of these proper sound shops that install these kits and park sensors and stuff, then to go to BMW. Some dealers will actually send the car to one of these shops they have contacts at as it is usually done in the factory.

I installed PDC with dash display in my Navara for R480 where the dealers wanted R2800 without a dash display.
