my 525 touring was R330, 000 new and insurance say R108,000 or something now. Lost 2/3 in value over 10 years not to bad.

My 320d was R230k, R90k now, so that's R140k in 8 years of which I lost R30k in 3 years. That leaves the first owner with R110k in 5 years @ R20k/year! (Maybe more since I bought the car from the dealer)

I lost R14k in 7 years from my Polo!

IIRC, just recently there was a guy who wanted around that R300k mark for his E39 525 touring, I think someone posted it in the For Sale section... at least we now know where he sourced that price lol He just forgot that it's almost a decade later!

Wow, the M5 cost R690k!!! Funny comparing BMW's fuel consumption claim with Topcar's figure, quite a big difference.

Holy cow! Over half a mill in 2002 for the 540i Manual! What a bargain then to be able to get these cars for the prices we can today. I mean I don't feel like my car is a 5th the car it was when it was new... They have the torque figures for the 540i a bit wrong though. Those are the figures for the pre-vanos V8's. If that's from 2002, it was 440nm.
