Black on Black Competition package M3

Hello from Australia,

Long time lurker. This is my first Beemer. I wasn't looking for a competition pack specifically but she came up and took her for a test drive and I was hooked.

In Oz, they came fully spec'd bar the ceramic brakes.

She looks, sounds and drives amazing. I've come from a Audi Sq5 which was a nice car but this is another level.

Here are a few quick pics. I'll post up some proper photos soon.

Any questions, just ask.

Enjoy!

Congratulations bud
How much does this car cost down under ?
Also do you drive mostly on track
I have a nephew that lives in Melbourne and he says that the traffic cops are so strict when it comes to speeding that you loose your license in no time if you break the speeding laws there.

Anywhere between 150k - 170k. They are well spec'd but still expensive compared to other countries.

This is sadly true. You have to be very careful. 30km over the limo is instant disqualification.

Awesome car there... Wow!!!!

And I'd imagine there isn't any option of a "spot fine" :fencelook: like here in SA when caught :roflol:

Enjoy her!

Thank you for the compliments. She is amazing to drive. I honestly picked this color because it was low key (and I love black) but it still gets allot of looks and comments.

Anyway here are some better pics I took.

Love your ride bud.
I was just wondering if it's worth having a car with all that power in Australia - unless you tracking all the time.
I say this because after my nephew moved there a few years back he lost his license within the first 6 months and he was driving a Camry. I know speeding laws are not meant to be broken but we all open our m cars every now and again hoping not to get caught. At least here in SA up to 160 it's just a ticket and if you get caught doing over 200 you might get out of it depending who the officer is.
Worst case scenario spend a few hours in the chookies and pay a hefty fine.
I would hate to buy an m car especially the competition pack and be afraid all the time to tap that throttle.
Unless I am wrong and maybe you guys also have certain roads and times where you guys can thrash the cars.
