Hi George
Its been such a long time that I cannot remember the comparison anymore. I had the kit on my previous 335 as well and as you know our cars get modded so quickly that I have no idea what stock "feels" like anymore.
But you can set the height of the ride as you wish and the higher, the softer. The highest setting is better than the stock sport mode and more comfortable. I am on the lowest possible setting because I believe the car moves quicker off the line and in the corners being low as possible and the ride is "comfortable" but potholes and big uneven surfaces are not good for you on the lowest setting...its def meant for the race track. When you activate the "race" mode the suspensions stiffens instantaneously and the car feels so incredibly competent especially at the lowest setting....like its glued to the road surface. I wish i could drive in this mode all the time if it was not for our crappy roads.
The advantage you have, when you buy the kit now; you will get the updated ride control system. Its now using new bushings and stuff and...apparently its a simillar bilstein system used on the new Nissan GTR....so they say.
But once you have the kit installed you can choose the ideal setting for yourself.
@Yunus. Unlikely man. The new M5 appears to be on the horizon in early 2012...so the 335 has to do duty untill then.
