Hi all...

As suggested by Mc Member. - gauging interest in one of the above two options for all those that have bikes...

Let's see what everyone is keen for!

Regards,

Pete

Either or from my side.

For a bike night I can have Brothers ride with for lead and rear of the pack - to provide more safety.

I have some bars I can show you guys.

I see that there aren't other club riders here. So it will be a surprise for you all. Something interesting and different.

Someone else suggested a rally as well, I can suggest the buzzard rally.

Its a good ride out there and safety is guaranteed as well.

I did. Flipping doff idea no?

Hahahaha!

Exactly!

In all the years I have been riding, the last 6 months and a few weeks about 5 years ago was the most I have been off my bike.

IRO the above:

A bike night I would like to suggest the following:

6 guests - this excludes the Brothers from the Charter I ride for that will accompany us to keep the front and rear of the pack safe.

I can take us to a clubhouse in Primrose, then Elsburg, then Kempton park and finally a bar near Birchleigh.

We will keep it light and easy on the speeds. Also would be a Friday night which is not a church/meeting night for me - mandatory for me unfortunately and I cannot miss them.

Two of the places we will go to will see some history and members that have been in the biking community for over twenty years.

Its a different side to the biking community which is very much shrouded by myths and legends.

Another reason for keeping the group small is so that the outing is a bit more intimate and we can answer questions and enjoy the evening together.

This is not exactly BMW car related I understand, however I do see many bikers here that do also ride BMW's.

Hence why I would like to extend the invite to something different.

I am not a great fan of night riding, my night vision is taking strain (old age)
but since you are going to end in my "valley", I wouldn't mind joining the queue very late, or on the final stretch

I just had my '82 naked GL1100 Goldwing taken in for a good service today, and should have it back within a week,

and would like to tag along for the last few Km's or so

Fantastic.

Perhaps start a list of attendees:

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

Will identify a few dates this evening with the Brothers and revert back on Monday.

I can understand what you are saying.

Night riding and driving is much riskier.

Thankfully the rain seems to be holding up at least.

Will factor in for you and make arrangements.
