BIG problem with my ///BMW!!!!

I changed my water temp sensor about a year ago because it the car started to jurk on cruise and decalerate and that was the only error code on the AUTO BOSS! so i changed the sensor and wala the jurk was gone! and about 2 months ago same story car started with his jurking (if you hold the revs constant its got a miss to it) so again i changed the temp sensor and again my car was fine! car started with little fuel surches this weekend so i had it on the AUTO BOSS again tonight and like before gives an error code from the water temp sensor!
if we go to check the value of the sensor on the auto boss it reads 90, 91, 92,93, 89 , 93 ,88 up and down the whole time..
why do my car keep busting the water temp sensor???
I use the BMW Agents sensor every time not after market!!

This is unrelated, but are those Celcius readings? Unless I'm mistaken, shouldn't that be holding around 80 degrees on a 3.2L?

Anyway. You can get these errors if you're running low on coolant or if your coolant system needs a bleed. When you changed the sensor twice before, did you drain/refill the coolant?

yes that is degrees celcius! should run around 90 flat! can run any deg as long as it is contant not up and down.. bmw richens the fuel mixture if the car is cold! that is why it misses and jurks! drained flushed bleed new coolant etc.. its an electric fault some how!

that was my thoughts as well but maybe a short somewhere!!!
Mechanically im reasonably clued up, if it comes to cars wiring im in deep kak! i dont touch it!
ill get it checked out! been bugging me but doubt its serious!

one tip dont ever use penetrating oil on electric plugs they attract dust like crap do flies
